Il testo si propone di avviare gli studenti all'uso della lingua inglese nel campo dell'informatica e delle tecnologie dell'informazione, coinvolgendo gli allievi in numerose attività comunicative.

Il volume è diviso in due sezioni. La prima, Technical Issues, da 6 moduli di 3 Units ciascuno, ne costituisce la parte più propriamente tecnica. La seconda sezione, Cultural Matters, costituita da 4 moduli di 2 Units ciascuno, si caratterizzainvece per per un approccio più culturale, proponendo contenuti e temi di interesse generale connessi alla società dell'informazione digitale. Completano l'opera una serie di utili appendici.

La Guida per l'insegnante, oltre a contenere le chiavi degli esercizi e la trascrizione delle Listening dei due CD audio, comprende anche i Progress Tests per ciascun modulo, un elenco di siti web utili per l'insegnante, nonchè alcuni suggerimenti di carattere didattico.
